Aquarius Season is Here
As the Sun departs from the Cardinal Earth sign that represents Capricorn, we have shifted into a new year restarting the energy by getting back to basics or we may become more disciplined or focused on starting new long-term goals that we would like to make for 2024.
Now that the Sun has gone through Capricorn, which is a Saturn ruled sign, the Sun will enter the other Saturn ruled sign that represents the fixed part of the winter season, the Air Sign of Aquarius. The Sun represents our will power to extend this life force or shine our light into a certain area of life in our charts. Look towards where Aquarius sits for you to see which house will be highlighted over this next month. Having the Sun entering Aquarius it finds itself in the sign of the Sun's detriment because Aquarius is the opposite sign of Leo, which is the domicile/home sign the Sun rules over.
The Sun being in Aquarius will present a much lower or weakened type of energy in how it expresses its life force. The difference between Leo & Aquarius is Leo represents the individual, it can be very independent & shine its confidence as its preforming for other by drawing them in, while Aquarius represents groups of people, originality, it has an outsider perspective & Aquarius has a more rebellious type of energy to it. This polarity needs to find balance between understanding that there's two sides of the same coin that can present equality with autonomy when it comes to the individual & the audience.
As the Sun travels through Aquarius, the days will slower start getting longer. Aquarius Season focuses on the future, it's also about humanitarianism, progression, very friendly, it can be very unconventional, futuristic, scientific, it's ahead of its current times, there's group-oriented activities, it can be more detached, this energy can also be very blunt or cold in the way it expresses its energy.
Another way of explaining the energy of Aquarius is like you're 20,000 feet above ground viewing every part of society. One negative side that Aquarius represents is that it can be very stubborn or fixed into its own opinions on how it views things to be because this sign doesn't like change, it's a Fixed Sign just like Taurus, Leo & Scorpio. These are the middle parts of each season holding all of its energy into a solid form.
Last thing about Aquarius Season is the same day the Sun enters Aquarius, hours later the Lord of the Underworld enters the sign of Aquarius once again for the second time. Pluto first entered Aquarius back in March 2023 & only went up to 0 degrees of Aquarius which Pluto hasn't been in this sign since 1777 - 1797. This is such a massive change because Pluto is an outer planet that moves very slowly, almost like inches each year. Some themes that occurred last time Pluto was in Aquarius was the American Revolution, the French Revolution & the Industrial Revolution.
Pluto will be in Aquarius from January through September of this year, then retrograde back into Capricorn in September - November for the very last time, to complete this 16-year transit Pluto has been in since 2008. On November 19th, 2024, Pluto officially enters the sign of Aquarius where it'll stay until 2044. We are seriously entering a whole new era over the next 2 decades where we'll see massive change when it comes to technology, societies, AI will become more profound & there's going to be many new inventions or more revolutions occurring over the next 20 years. Very exciting, but kind of different future so to say that we're entering!
